Terms of Use and Enrollment

What you are agreeing to when you create an account, buy a plan or enroll in a live class, and what we are committing to in return. The parts most people want first — the prices, the refund rules and what happens if a session is missed — are near the top.

Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you and NEXUS Online Math Tutorials, an independent online tutoring service run by Teacher Yobhel and based in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. You can reach us at contact@nexustutorials.com or +63 969 609 9632.

"You" means whoever holds the NEXUS account. Because most of our students are minors, a student under 18 should create the account and buy a plan with a parent or guardian's permission, and a live class seat should be paid for by an adult who accepts these terms on the student's behalf.

How buying works

You create a free account

An email and password, or Google sign-in. This is where everything you buy lives.

You pay by QR Ph

A secure PayMongo page shows a QR Ph code. You scan it with GCash, Maya or a bank app.

It unlocks at once

The plan appears on your dashboard the moment PayMongo confirms the payment, and a receipt is emailed to you.

A plan or seat is yours only once the payment has been confirmed. A checkout that is started but not paid reserves nothing.

We email an invoice

It shows the fee, the schedule and how to pay.

You pay and the slot is yours

We confirm and send the joining link before day one.

Submitting the form reserves a slot but does not confirm it. The slot is confirmed only when payment has been received.

Fees and payment

  • Every price is shown on the pricing page and on the payment page before you pay, in Philippine pesos. There are no enrollment fees, materials fees or other charges on top.
  • Payment is made on this website through PayMongo, using QR Ph (scan-to-pay with GCash, Maya, GrabPay or a participating bank app). Paying by QR Ph is free of charge on your side.
  • We never see, ask for or store your card number, account number, wallet PIN or any other payment credential. PayMongo handles the payment and tells us only that it succeeded, the amount, and a payment reference.
  • Each plan is a one-time payment. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again unless you buy something else.
  • If a payment is confirmed but your dashboard does not update within ten minutes, message us with the reference number and we will unlock it by hand the same day.

Digital plans: lessons, practice sets and PDFs

  • A digital plan gives the account holder a personal, non-transferable licence to read the lessons, use the practice sets and download the PDFs for their own study. It does not expire.
  • The materials are copyright NEXUS. Do not copy, re-post, sell or share them, and do not share your account login. An account that is shared between several students may be closed without refund.
  • We may add, reorganise or improve lessons and practice sets over time. We will not remove access to something you paid for.
  • If this site ever closes, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to download the PDF materials first.

Your account

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your login; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
  • Use your real name and a working email address. Receipts, password resets and class reminders go there.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time by email. Deleting it removes your results and, since access is tied to the account, ends your access to any plans on it.

Refunds

Digital plans — Lessons + CET Practice, the review pack and the digital part of All-Access — are delivered in full the moment you pay, so they are not refundable once unlocked. If something is broken or a download will not open, tell us and we will fix it. The rules below are for live class seats, including the seat inside an All-Access Pass (a refund of that seat is the batch fee, not the whole pass).

Before the batch starts — full refund

If you change your mind at any point before the first session of your batch, tell us and we will refund the full amount. No reason needed, no deductions.

Once the batch has begun, the fee is not refundable. Places are limited and a seat that goes unused mid-run cannot be resold, so we cannot refund it. This applies whether the student attends or not.

To request a refund, email contact@nexustutorials.com before your batch's start date. Refunds are sent back by the same method you paid with, normally within seven working days.

If your circumstances are exceptional — a serious illness, a family emergency — talk to us anyway. The rule above is what we owe you; it is not the limit of what we are willing to do.

If a student misses a session

Sessions are not recorded, so nothing from a live class is kept or sent on. Instead:

  • We send the materials and worked notes for that session.
  • We send a pre-recorded catch-up video covering the same topic. These are made separately by the teacher — no other students appear in them, and no part of the live class is included.

There is no separate make-up session, and missed sessions are not refunded or credited. Tell us in advance where you can, so we know to send the catch-up material.

What we commit to

  • We run every session in the schedule. If we ever have to cancel one, we will reschedule it or add a session to the end of the run, at no extra cost.
  • We give notice of changes. If a session time has to move, we tell you as early as we can by email and message.
  • The teaching is live. Classes are taught in real time by a teacher, not played back from a recording.
  • We keep groups small enough to ask questions in. If a batch fills, we open another rather than overloading it.

What we ask of students

  • Arrive on time and ready to work, with something to write on.
  • Be civil to the teacher and to the other students. Sessions are shared, and everyone should feel able to ask an obvious question.
  • Do not record, screenshot or re-share the sessions or the materials. They are for the enrolled student's own use.

If a student repeatedly disrupts a class, we will raise it with you first and work it out together. Removing a student is a last resort, and we would only do it after talking to you.

What you will need

A device with a working microphone and a stable internet connection, and somewhere quiet enough to take part. A camera is welcome but never required. Classes are held on Google Meet, which is free to use and needs no paid account — the student joins from the link we send, in a browser or the Meet app.

Your information

What we collect and how we look after it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy. In short: your account details, what you bought and your results; never your payment credentials; never sold; deleted when you ask, and purchase records three years after the purchase for accounting.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and the classes change. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published when you paid — we will not change the deal on a plan you already hold or a batch that has already started. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first — we would far rather sort it out directly.

Anything here you want explained?

Ask before you pay, not after.
