Terms of Use and Enrollment

Fees and payment

• Every price is shown on the pricing page and on the payment page before you pay, in Philippine pesos. There are no enrollment fees, materials fees or other charges on top.
• Payment is made on this website through PayMongo, using QR Ph (scan-to-pay with GCash, Maya, GrabPay or a participating bank app). Paying by QR Ph is free of charge on your side.
• We never see, ask for or store your card number, account number, wallet PIN or any other payment credential. PayMongo handles the payment and tells us only that it succeeded, the amount, and a payment reference.
• Each plan is a one-time payment. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again unless you buy something else.
• If a payment is confirmed but your dashboard does not update within ten minutes, message us with the reference number and we will unlock it by hand the same day.

Packages: lessons, practice sets and mock exams

• The self-paced review is sold as one package, the UPCAT Math Review: the UPCAT Math Review course and the Grade 7-12 Math Review course, together for one payment. A package is bought as a whole; its courses are not sold separately. The UPCAT All-Access Pass is the UPCAT Math Review package together with a live class seat.
• Free lessons. Since 4 October 2026 anyone may open every UPCAT lesson and every Grade 7-12 lesson free, with or without an account, each with its 5-question check, under the same licence as a bought one. An account saves your progress. The practice sets, the mock exams and live class seats are not free. We may change which lessons are free in future; anything you have bought is never affected by that.
• Bought another package before 2 October 2026 — SAT + Grade 7-12, Grade 1-6 + PSHS NCE or the Calculus Review? Those are no longer sold to new students, but everything you bought stays on your account in full, under the same licence, for as long as this site runs. The package you know as UPCAT + Grade 7-12 is the same package as the UPCAT Math Review; only the name changed.
• A package includes every lesson, practice set and, where the course has them, mock exam in its courses, as listed on the pricing page when you paid.
• Bought a single course before 28 September 2026? It has been upgraded to the package it now belongs to at no cost, and nothing you bought has been taken away. A purchase of mock papers on their own keeps exactly what was bought.
• A package gives the account holder a personal, non-transferable licence to read the lessons and use the practice sets and mock exams for their own study. It does not expire.
• The materials are copyright NEXUS. Do not copy, re-post, sell or share them, and do not share your account login. An account that is shared between several students may be closed without refund.
• We may add, reorganise or improve lessons and practice sets over time. We will not remove access to something you paid for.
• If this site ever closes, we will give at least 30 days' notice.

Gifts and access codes

• A package or an All-Access Pass can be bought as a gift. The payment issues a one-time access code instead of unlocking the buyer's own account, and it is emailed to the buyer.
• Whoever enters the code, while creating a free account or on the redeem page, gets what it unlocks on their account, and the licence above is theirs. The buyer's own account is not changed.
• A code works once and does not expire. Keep it private until it is used: we cannot tell who is meant to redeem it, so a code used by someone else counts as used.
• A code that includes a live class seat is for the batch that was open for enrollment when it was bought. If that batch has finished before the code is redeemed, message us and we will move the seat to the next batch.
• We may also issue codes by hand for payments made another way. They work the same way.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your login; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Use your real name and a working email address. Receipts, password resets and class reminders go there.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by email. Deleting it removes your results and, since access is tied to the account, ends your access to any plans on it.

Refunds

Packages — and the self-paced part of an All-Access Pass — are delivered in full the moment they are unlocked, so they are not refundable once unlocked. If something is broken or a download will not open, tell us and we will fix it. The rules below are for live class seats, including the seat inside an All-Access Pass (a refund of that seat is the batch fee, not the whole pass).

Once the batch has begun, the fee is not refundable. Places are limited and a seat that goes unused mid-run cannot be resold, so we cannot refund it. This applies whether the student attends or not.

To request a refund, email contact@nexustutorials.net before your batch's start date. Refunds are sent back by the same method you paid with, normally within seven working days.

If your circumstances are exceptional — a serious illness, a family emergency — talk to us anyway. The rule above is what we owe you; it is not the limit of what we are willing to do.

If a student misses a session

Sessions are not recorded, so nothing from a live class is kept or sent on. Instead:

• We send the materials and worked notes for that session.
• We send a pre-recorded catch-up video covering the same topic. These are made separately by the teacher — no other students appear in them, and no part of the live class is included.

There is no separate make-up session, and missed sessions are not refunded or credited. Tell us in advance where you can, so we know to send the catch-up material.

What we commit to

• We run every session in the schedule. If we ever have to cancel one, we will reschedule it or add a session to the end of the run, at no extra cost.
• We give notice of changes. If a session time has to move, we tell you as early as we can by email and message.
• The teaching is live. Classes are taught in real time by a teacher, not played back from a recording.
• We keep groups small enough to ask questions in. If a batch fills, we open another rather than overloading it.

What we ask of students

• Arrive on time and ready to work, with something to write on.
• Be civil to the teacher and to the other students. Sessions are shared, and everyone should feel able to ask an obvious question.
• Do not record, screenshot or re-share the sessions or the materials. They are for the enrolled student's own use.

If a student repeatedly disrupts a class, we will raise it with you first and work it out together. Removing a student is a last resort, and we would only do it after talking to you.

What you will need

A device with a working microphone and a stable internet connection, and somewhere quiet enough to take part. A camera is welcome but never required. Classes are held in the NEXUS class room, inside the student's dashboard in an ordinary web browser — nothing to install and no other account needed. The student joins with the Join button on their class page.

Your information

What we collect and how we look after it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy. In short: your account details, what you bought and your results; never your payment credentials; never sold; deleted when you ask, and purchase records three years after the purchase for accounting.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and the classes change. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published when you paid — we will not change the deal on a plan you already hold or a batch that has already started. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first — we would far rather sort it out directly.
